After a long summer without the need to sleep and wake up early (with the exception of summer school and volunteering), getting up today was terrible. Even now I want to go back to my cozy bed haha, but decided that if I do that now, it'd be hard for me to sleep tonight. Anyway, it was pretty exciting seeing my friends and discovering whose in my class and all. Sadly, once again, I have Math first thing in the morning... jeez! I've had that first thing in the morning for the past three years of my high school life and believe me, it really really sucks! I'm usually pretty out-of-it in the mornings, especially when I have to get up early, so my mind tends to doze off at the most inconvenient times... including when instructions and notes are being handed out.
But other than math, I think it was an okay day for an official first full school day. Socials was a little boring, but I think my teacher is awesome, so it'll be a fun year with him. Chemistry was something I looked forward to. I was pretty good with it during the summer, so I hope it won't be THAT much harder... though the teacher said it would be.
Band class was great too, but I'm really disappointed with the fact that the scheduling this year was horrible! Many of my close friends chose band class but somehow got it cut from their schedules... GAH! And a few of my friends are planning on switching out. -makes face- That means that the chance of me getting unwanted people in my room for the yearly band trip will be higher, which is just wonderful.
Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day. There's more to look forward to; Psychology and French! I may plan on being a french teacher, so I need to start working a lot harder now, though of course, my mind is against working.
Anyway, for those who read Wolf Rider, I'll just let you all know that at the moment, I haven't started to work on the upcoming chapter, but I have most of my ideas on how things will go. So please look forward to the 15th!Labels: drabbles

5 days until I was supposed to post an update of the next chapter of Wolf Rider, but at the moment, nothing that makes sense comes to mind. I had a few ideas here and there, but nothing was good enough for me to like it, so they were all discarded. Truthfully, I don't even know what to write for the next chapter... I wanted to put them into action now, after that long period of silence, but would it be too soon? And for Nicol, I wanted him to become more of a developed character than just a flat character... so I guess putting them into battle so soon would not be so great. But what to write about in the meantime? That's what I'm stuck on. -makes face-
So the conclusion? I decided to break my deadline and postpone the next chapter until mid-September. Yeah, I know; I'm a horrible fanfic-writer who doesn't keep their word on deadlines (though I tried for the past two months and thought that I would be able to keep it until the end of this fanfic). But I guess a better-written chapter, though posted late, would always be better than a lamely-written chapter that is posted on time (which I feel from my recent chapters). But after this mind-block, I do intend to continue on with my deadlines. And so, I apologize if I upset or disappointed anyone.

Sorry it's so late! I was out for most of the day and kept editing the chapter to make some things fit in better together. But it's still the 15th where I live (Pacific Time), so I guess I still made my deadline. I introduced a new character, which everyone has been asking about. The chapter starts off with Cagalli's POV, but then switches into a third-person view for the second half. Anyway, hope you enjoy~

Well, it happened yesterday, but since I didn't have time to post so late last night, I decided to do it now while I remember. It was my two good friends' sweet 16th birthday, and so, for a special occasion, we all went out to eat dinner at a really high and classy place. Truthfully, it's earlier than their actual b-days and they aren't together, but since a friend of ours who is going back to Taiwan sometime tonight (-tears-), they decided to hold it before she went. The food was really really good! (But REALLY expensive!) I wouldn't pay $28 for just one course... but then again, this was a special night, so I took it. It was a type of spaghetti which had bacon bits and covered with alfredo sauce. First 15 or so bites was really awesome; the sauce was DELICIOUS! But then, during the second half, let's just say that it was harder to get things down.
I haven't seen many of my friends since school ended, so I had a really good time. We talked about a lot of random stuff and laughed at the stupidest things. Everyone was dressed really nicely (in dresses and all), but my other friend and I both wore dress pants and dressy top. After going through an on-the-menu-because-its-a-celebration dessert, which consisted of several cakes (strawberry short-cake, mango mousse, chocolate mousse etc.) we returned to my friend's house for more cake and ice cream. By the time I got home, it was mighty late... midnight! I'm really grateful for my parents; I didn't get scolded like I would usually do, but I guess they understood that it was a special event, so made an exception.
However, I had volunteer work at a kids camp today, so going through all of that, I was pretty tired today. Though it has been fun and not as bad as I had originally thought, I like the fact that tomorrow is the last day. Taking up a quarter of my day, while nearly half of my day is spent sleeping, I don't have that much time outside of that.
NOTE: For those who are reading Wolf Rider, my gundam seed fanfic, it's been progressing pretty slowly the past few days due to volunteering, but I'll try my best to keep my deadline. I've only gotten just past a page by now (which is a pretty bad sign lol!), but I do know what most of the chapter will be about... The only problem is how to link them together.. But anyway, please anticipate my next chapter!

Ah... today was a holiday for me, so my family and I went out for the majority of the day. We went to shore-like place (not exactly a beach... maybe more of a lake) and it had a cute little village like place with small shops like coffee shops, gift shops and the sort. Parking was rather scarce, so it took us a long time to get a space. Kayak rentals there were really popular, as I could see many kayaks out on the water. Even the kayak rental places were busy. After that, we went to this forest park place and it was REALLY cool!
There was a really large river in the middle of the park with several bridges for people to go on. There were even several fishermen who wanted to catch any unlucky fish, though as hard as I looked, I couldn't see any fish. There were several large trails in the park and we wandered around. The place revealed to be a place where it is easy for people to see the Salmon when the season starts, though we're still a little early. There was a hatchery and an exhibit for salmon as well. The place was really well organized and well-built, with lots of stuff to see. And to think... the admission was free as well. I think at the very least, they should put a donation box somewhere to collect money to add to their exhibits, since the place was rather popular with tourists.
Even after going home, I think that was probably the funnest part of the day. I got to see a lot of neat stuff and was in a nature-environment, which made me forget the stressing things like having a final exam on Thursday and school tomorrow. Here's some photos!
Wah... I'm so tired, but I can't rest just yet. There's still homework and revision for tomorrow's classes to be done. I really really can't wait for this week to be over. Summer school will end! Only got to work hard for another 3 days and then I'll have 3 weeks of summer before school starts again. Fighting! ^^Labels: drabbles
